There is something a little different about the songs chosen for summer ceremonies as well as the feeling that goes into them. Matching the atmosphere of long lazy summer days with the magical feeling of warm summer nights, the songs selected for weddings in the summer tend to have a similar fuzzy glow.
The other big difference about summer ceremonies is the many creative locations where they can happen. As we do not always have access to electricity, we change up our electrically powered instruments for acoustic ones to take the music wherever it is needed. Acoustic guitars, basses and violins are the subject of this week's blog post as we explore the sounds of summer wedding ceremonies. In addition to a few recent recordings featuring our summer trio in action, we also have here a few song-lists that have been popular with this year's weddings. We hope these tunes leave you with a summer glow WARM-HEARTED ROCK
