Country Chic Wedding Music

With warmer sunny days starting to roll in this week, we are all beginning to fantasize about hot summer days once again. Although we are still at least a few weeks from breaking out our short shorts and boat shoes, we are starting to get a glimpse of what that relaxed summer glow will feel like once again. Summer weddings have a certain magic to them. With the long evening sun followed by golden sunsets comes a relaxed feeling of calm happiness. Especially outside of the boundaries of the GTA, there are certain weddings we perform at where the mood is set before we even get there. Warm & sunny afternoons in The Muskokas and Niagara-OnThe-Lake call for equally warm & sunny songs to match the atmosphere. COUNTRY CHIC is a genre we have invented over the past few seasons that includes songs from a few different warm & happy genres that all fit this summery vibe quite perfectly (also it sounds incredibly stylish!). It is made up of three musical genres that come up in our lists of song-requests time after time: COUNTY, FOLK ROCK and WARM OLDIES. There is lots of cross-over between the songs of these three genres and you might even find that one of our songs listed as a "Warm-Oldie" is more of a "Country" song or vice-versa. That only proves all the more how these songs deserve to be connected under a broader umbrella as it is sometimes hard to describe a great song as being just one genre. We organized them based on the criteria: COUNTRY - Modern Country & Classic Country FOLK ROCK - Modern Folk, East Coast, Folk Classics WARM OLDIES - Rockin Oldies from 50s 60s and 70s with boot-stomping appeal We have listed our favourite 50 Country Chic songs in their respective genres below in their respective sub-genres for your added convenience. Feel free to use any of these as ceremony, cocktail/dinner or party songs as each can be performed either big or small depending on what works best for you. What we can guarantee is that any time you get a band playing any of these brilliant songs on a beautiful summer evening, you can easily expect some singing and dancing before the sun goes down (maybe even some boot-stomping too!) Here's to warmer weather everyone, enjoy the list! COUNTRY
