*** We love our vocalist Lilly as much as she loves Soul Music...which is like a LOT->
There is something about the romance and emotion of Classic Motown music that is just made for wedding receptions. The cool relaxed feel, the honest intention of the lyrics, these songs fill hearts as quickly as they will fill your dance floor. I don't think there is one wedding we have performed at over the past decade without incorporating at least a few of these timeless gems. They go all the way back to the jazzy R&B of the 50s with songs like AT LAST by Etta James, the Classic Soul sound of the 60s with The Temptations MY GIRL and live through the funky soulful sounds of the 70s with favourites like Stevie Wonder's ISN'T SHE LOVELY.
This week we turn our attention to our dazzling vocalist LILLY who is so passionate about all of these songs and does a sparkling job of performing Etta, Ella, Diana Aretha straight from her heart. Enjoy these lists with our favourites that we perform often at weddings, along with some sensational videos with Lilly on vocals to help you imagine the magic of your own wedding.
