Classic Vocal Jazz

*** All of our favourite classic jazz favourites to bring some classic magic to your reception ->

Classic Vocal Jazz remains one of the most popular styles we perform as it fits in perfectly with the cool atmosphere of stylish downtown Toronto weddings and events. From Louis Armstrong to Michael Buble, vocal jazz is all about setting the mood, colouring the atmosphere with music dressed up in a suit and tie. The genre was popularized in the 50s and 60s by the Frank Sinatra led rat-pack, putting a new polish on many old jazz standards. Many have stood the test of time, our culture still familiar with Frank Sinatra's version of "The Way You Look Tonight" or Nat King Cole's L.O.V.E., which is why we still start many of our performances with these songs too. Matching the music to fit the venue is a fantastic way to further stylize your event, many of Toronto's downtown buildings already filled with a rich history that is begging to be sung about. From old bank vaults to castle towers to the libraries of renovated mansion houses, the only thing missing is stiff glass of scotch. Feel free to use this week's lists to help your build your own list of classy classic music for your event (Note: We take no responsibility for the clouds of cigar smoke these songs will inspire.)
