We love performing at cocktail receptions! The energy, the mood, the chance to break the ice and start a reception off nicely and match the vibe of the evening is always an interesting challenge.
Starting your reception off on the right note is often all about choosing the right songs. When your guests hear music that they love, it helps inspire conversation, loosens the atmosphere and ignites the party spirit before they have even entered the dinner reception.
Song requests are always a great idea, and we love to include ALL of your favourite songs in our setlists, but what happens when you don't know where to start? Over the hundreds of receptions we have been grateful to have been a part of, we have found that there are some classic songs that just to seem to work just about anywhere.
